Goodwood Breakfast club |
| Sunday 6th July is Sunday Soft-Top day at the Goodwood Breakfast club. It means an early start from Toddington services south to leave at 7.30am.
It would be best to book your own breakfast - http://www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/breakfastclub/Pre-Registration.aspx
They would like numbers even if you don't want breakfast, as it does get busy. Wont be at the June meeting but will be going to this unless its pi**** ng down. |
BBWF |
| To all TVRCC Regional Organisers
As you are no doubt aware we are holding this years
BBWF over the weekend of 26th & 27th July.
Whilst the event was originally conceived, some five years ago as a small social get-together for the Wedge fraternity we have always welcomed any TVR owner, or enthusiast, to the event.
Despite all the tongue-in-cheek “Park it round the back” banter you may have seen on the web.
Indeed many Griff, Chimaera and Cerbera owners have attended regularly but we would like to spread the word amongst members that this is indeed a National TVRCC Event and as such is open to all models.
So I would like to take this opportunity to ask you if you would be so kind as to spread the word amongst your members that we would like to extend an open invitation for all to attend BBWF 08.
The main event is on Saturday 26th
followed by a ticket only (£13.00 pp) early evening Hog Roast & Live Band.
Sunday 27th is a leisurely 3 hour rumble round the Cotswolds culminating in a lunch stop at the 14th Century Fleece Inn www.thefleeceinn.co.uk
Further details and route maps can be downloaded from my website at www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk or I can be contacted direct via wedged@tvrcc.com
ENTRANCE IS STILL ABSOLUTELY FREE

British Car Enthusiasts Rally 2008, Supporting Mak |
| The British Car Enthusiasts Rally 2008 will be at Wicksteed Park, Kettering, on Sunday 7th September and will again be supporting Make-A-Wish Foundation (UK).
Since 1980, Make-A-Wish Foundation (UK) has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. in 2007, we raised over £1200 for this worthwhile cause, while bringing some happiness to two terminally ill children in a direct way by having them at the event as our guests for the day. In 2008 we hope to beat the amount raised, but will need all the help we can get to do so.
The event is open to all marques with a British Heritage including Aston Martin, Caterham, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, Mini, MG, Morgan, Morris, Noble, Riley, Rover, Triumph, TVR, Wolseley or any other. All are welcome either as clubs or individuals.
Club and trade stands can be arranged on request.
Further details will be announced on the brit-cars.com forum |
